If you ask Alicia what she got to do on her birthday, she will tell you that her birthday fell on the same day as Auburn Kids Day. This is one of the largest kids events we go to each year. It is at Les Gove Park in, you guessed it, Auburn, WA, and it has tons of inflatable bouncy rides, vendors giving away freebies, food, and music from various bands, including Radio Disney. Alicia figured out quickly that if she mentioned it was her birthday she got extra goodies, so for a week after this we had to remind her not to ask for things because it was her birthday.
One daycare catered to little girls. It was called Princess Daycare and here was there mascot, Rapunzel, for pictures. As you can tell Tabatha got her face painted as a tiger, while Alicia had 7 put on her cheeks in honor of her birthday.
I love this picture of Tabatha being scared by Grover.
Alicia with her special firefighter hat she received for her birthday, riding with Olivia and a new friend in the fire truck.
We ended with a round of putt putt golf. Olivia and her good friend Lily were supervised by Lily’s older brother Hunter. Neither of them could figure it out, the swing was beyond them, but it is the effort that counts and they were very diligent. Tabatha and Alicia are on the course in the background.
Tabatha didn’t want to drop her goodie bag to golf. This obstacle was hard to overcome, but with her amazing pink sparkle boots she managed to reach the hole.
After a long day we came home and had ice cream and cup cakes. Could her smile be any bigger? So Happy Birthday Alicia! Here’s to seven good years.
