Tacoma used to have the smallest Children’s museum we have ever been to, but earlier this year the museum moved to a larger, brighter, and happier space. Olivia was excited to share it with her preschool friends. Here she is with Lily and Hollie.
From trees to climb in the “Woods”,
to a water lift with this ball pulley,
and to climbing all over a large metal bird,
or drawing using glass,
and a huge blowing machine machine pushing handkerchiefs through tubes at lightning speed.
This new museum is amazing, and we will need to come back again and again, if nothing else to let Tabatha and Alicia play here. Over twice as large as the old space, these pictures don’t even touch the block room, the huge water area, and the extensive art room where clay, paint, and other art were all going on at the same time. If you are in town and need someone to go with you to this museum, we would be happy to go with you, it is just that fun for the kids.
